Central: How to manage carts and totes

This guide provides a step-by-step process for creating carts, totes, and attaching-detaching them on the central platform.

1. Go to your central dashboard https://central.leanafywms.com and log in if necessary

2. Click on Menu

3. Click on Manage Cart

4. Click on "Add Cart"

5. Enter the number of carts you wish to create, then enter their dimensions and weight capacity.

Tip: If you want, you can leave the DIMS and weight capacity fields empty and proceed with creating the required number of carts directly.

6. QR codes for the specified quantity of carts will be generated. You can proceed with printing them if needed.

Tip: You can always click on the 'QR Code' icon to generate a QR code for any specific cart whenever needed.
​

7. Now, after creating the required number of carts, it's time to create the required number of totes. To proceed, click on the 'Add Tote' button.

8. Enter the required number of totes, their alias, followed by DIMS and weight capacity, and then click on the 'Add Totes to Warehouse' button.

9. QR codes for the specified quantity of totes will be generated. You can proceed with printing them if needed.

10. Now that both carts and totes have been created, to attach the totes to a cart, click on the 'Select Totes to Attach to Cart' dropdown menu.

11. Navigate to the tote you wish to attach and click on it to attach it to the respective cart

Tip: You can re-print the QR code of totes tagged to a cart if needed. Simply click on 'Print Totes' to do so.

Tip: You can also click on 'Scan Tote QR Code' and scan the tote QR code to directly attach the tote to the cart.

Tip: You can also attach a tote that is already tagged to a different cart, provided that the cart isn't associated with a wave picklist or it will affect the picking process.

12. If you wish to remove any tote from the cart, click on the delete icon.

13. Now, navigate to the tote and click on the 'x' icon to remove the respective tote from the cart.
