Central: Creating and shipping items classified as dangerous goods

This guide provides a step-by-step process to create and ship items that are classified as dangerous goods.

1. Navigate to https://central.leanafywms.com and login if required!

2. Navigate to the Client List, open the Client Item Master, and click on '+ Add Item' to add a new item classified as a dangerous good.

3. Upload product image if required and enter product name, product SKU, Scannable

4. Select the UoM

5. Select the 'Dangerous Goods' checkbox

6. Select the hazmat classification from the dropdown.

7. Select the required tracking information for the product by clicking on the toggle button

8. Click on 'Add Item to Item Master' button to add the item in the item master list of the client

9. Now, navigate to 'Orders' from the menu and click on the 'Create Order' button.

10. Select the client from the dropdown

11. Select the product from the dropdown and enter the quantity,UoM

12. Click on "Add Item to order"

13. Click on "Create Order"

Tip: Ensure you have enough quantity of the product to create the order; otherwise, insufficient quantity will result in a 'Back-Order'

14. Now, open the order

15. Navigate to the 'Picklist' tab, click on the 'Generate Picklist' button, and open the picklist to start picking items for the order.

16. Click on "Pick Item"

17. Select the product location, enter the quantity, UoM and click on the "Pick Item" button

18. Navigate to the Packaging tab once you have finished picking all the items for the order.

19. Click on "Add Packages"

20. Select the required package from the package list, enter the package weight and unit, select the package product, enter the product quantity and unit, then click on the 'Add Product' button. After that, click on the 'Add Package to Order #Number' button.

Tip: If the package was created before the item was marked as dangerous goods, you must delete the package and recreate it

21. After packaging, navigate to the "Shipping" tab

22. Click on "Create Shipment"

23. Select the package created

24. Click on "Next: Order Address" button

25. Enter the customer name and relevant details; If the customer details are already saved, you can select it from the dropdown.

26. Click on the "Next: Package Pickup" button

27. Enter the required information and click on the "Next: Create Shipment" button

28. Select the required carrier partner for the order shipment, then click on the 'Next: Purchase Shipment' button

29. After purchasing the shipment successfully, the label for the dangerous goods is generated, marked as 'HAZMAT'.
